Cuban Vice President Travels to Venezuela
The vice president of the Council of Ministers of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel arrived in this capital to represent his country in the activities to be performed tomorrow in support of the Venezuelan government and people.
The Cuban delegation was received by representatives of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry in Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetia, Vargas state.
The arrival of Diaz Canel is one of many expected of various Latin American and Caribbean authorities and heads of state participating in the popular concentration convened for Thursday January 10 in front of Miraflores Palace in Caracas, where the people will manifest its support to President Hugo Chavez.
Venezuela's National Assembly approved that the president postpones his inauguration and do it in the Supreme Court of Justice, as established by the Constitution of that nation when an unexpected event like this occurs.
