France to compete at World Cocktail Championship in Cuba

President of the Asssociation of Barmen of France, René Delvincourt, confirmed here the eve the participation of two French bartenders in the World Cocktail Championship that will be held in Cuba in November, an event about which he showed expectations.
 
We carried out the national selection in June, so we will have two competitors in the championship, one in the classical cocktail modality and another in flair style, he told Prensa Latina in this capital.
 
Delvincourt announced he will travel with the French experts to Cuba, in an important professional and personal trip.
 
I know Havana. I have been there several times with delegations of Pernod-Ricard, distributor of the world renowned Havana Club rum, and I have very good memories, he said.
 
The expert considered the trip a good opportunity to exchange experiences and visit iconic places such as the Bodeguita del Medio, with its mojitos, and cigar factories.
 
According to the Cuban Bartenders Association, bartenders from over 60 countries will participate in the World Cocktail Championship at Varadero’s Meliá Internacional from November 4 to 9.
